Church Groups

Parish Council

The Parish Council meets on a quarterly basis to support the Priest in the organisation of parish life.  The Parish Council acts in an advisory capacity. 

The current Chair is Clare Rimmer.

Parish Council meetings are announced in the weekly newsletter and everyone is welcome to suggest items for the agenda and to attend. 

There are two Prayer Groups within the Parish. 

Prego Prayer Group: The Parish Ignation Prego Prayer Group meets fortnightly on a Tuesday evening on Zoom. Everyone is welcome to join us for a time of stillness, prayerful reflection on the Word of God and an opportunity to share if you wish to. If you are interested and would like more information please contact the Parish Priest.

Charismatic Prayer Group: The Parish Charismatic Prayer Group is currently suspended but The Wrexham Charismatic Prayer Group meets each week on a Tuesday evenings on Zoom.  Please contact Stephen Halsall for more details on 01244 533087.

The Community & Social Group was originally the Parish Ladies Group until July 2023 and meet about four times a year.  The meeting is open to all from the Parish.  

The meeting is an opportunity to get together on a social basis and to co-ordinate events in the church calendar that members of the group get involved with e.g, coffee mornings, family fun day, Hawarden Carnival, flower arranging etc.
